The project included a masterplan for future additions with an implementation strategy that would allow for continuous manufacturing operations.

The initial design concept was to use the mass of the building to express the major interior functions. The high bay manufacturing and warehousing volume was designed to be the backdrop to the administrative and research operations.

The design concept was further developed by placing the blue tinted glass entrance at the corner with a two-storey masonry colonnade on the side, giving the building a distinctive presence when viewed from the main intersection.

The rhythmic placement of the vertical mullions of the curtainwall denotes the location of the main entrance and the employee’s entrance.
