Food production Facility

This LEED Gold certified Cook-Chill facility prepares meals to 90% completion. Meals are rapidly chilled, packaged and delivered to satellite locations where the cooking process is completed. The process allows for bulk preparation of high quality meals with minimal quality loss. The building design facilitates material flow from raw food to finished product, while isolating the flow of waste material. Some LEED strategies include: increased thermal performance, green roof, storm water and daylight harvesting, ground source heat pumps, locally sourced materials with high recycled content.
